Supporting Thailand’s Participation in the Global Citizens’ Assembly 2025–2026

Siam Biotrade is pleased to share that our Vice President, Onusa Kanhachat, has been selected as Thailand’s Community Host for the Global Citizens’ Assembly 2025–2026. The Assembly brings together participants from around the world through a fair and diverse selection process to learn, exchange perspectives, and provide recommendations to policy makers on key global issues.

For this cycle, the Assembly supports the Government of Brazil’s initiative to establish a Citizens’ Track within the UN COP process, with a focus in early 2026 on global food systems and their connection to climate change. Over the past months, we have coordinated the application and selection process for participants from the Bangkok Metropolitan Area. Applications are now closed, and we are working closely with selected members as the program moves forward.
